Have you ever walked out of your air conditioned house with your camera into the hot humid outdoors, go to take a picture only to see blur and fog thru the view finder?

Most people have, included myself many times. Including last weekend when I went fishing in Alabama.

So what can you do?

Leave your camera outside (hopefully it's somewhere safe and doesn't get stolen). Or keep a glass cleaning cloth to wipe the outside glass (but if the inside glass or sensor is fogged up then you really have no choice but to wait; maybe as long as 30 minutes to and an hour). But the best and safest way to prevent fogging is to bring your entire camera bag outside or place your camera in a plastic bag (like a grocery bag or ziplock bag) before you go outside and then let it adjust to the temperature before removing it from the bag. Also if you put it in a plastic bag leave as much air as posible in the bag with the camera.

Hope that helps!
