My first Photoshop World

I spent the last week in Las Vegas to attend NAPP's Photoshop World (also celebrated my anniversary while there). The conference didn't start till Wednesday but on Tuesday I went on a pre-conference photowalk with Erik Valind. Erik is a super nice guy and also a great photographer so it was really an honor to have him lead the photowalk.
Here are a few shots from our walk:

Based on what I've heard, for last few years at Photoshop World, Westcott has setup a booth to demo their Spiderlites and lighting setups with real live models. It's always a popular place for photographers throughout the expo. It's really great to see how easily their lights can be used to create interesting and beautiful set-ups.

Another fun event outside of the actual conference is the After-Hours Party. This year it was at the House of Blues Las Vegas where Scott Kelby's Band "Big Electric Cat" performed for the private party. Had a great time and got some really awesome shots.

My wife and I went and saw "The Beatles LOVE" the Cirque du Soleil show at the Mirage. What a great show – anyone who even remotely enjoys the Beatles Music should go see the show if they are ever in Vegas.
My wife and I had really had a great time – There is so much to see in and around Las Vegas. I'm already looking forward to next year's Photoshop World in Vegas and maybe seeing a little bit more of the area off the Vegas Strip.
